5 Songs for the Weekend 9.11.2015

It’s been 90+ in Los Angeles all week and we’re on our last threads over here. I gave you all a bunch of cool remixes on Wednesday, but to be honest, I’m not feeling so cool anymore. Like I might just have a standing fever. So here are 5 songs for the weekend that will make you groove and completely forget about the heat and misery that is late summer. Stream these songs, as well as the rest of the music featured on The Sundaze on our Sound Cloud playlist, here.

Jojee “Unravel Me” For when you’re getting ready for a night on the town, and you have your sights set on that special someone you need just a little bit of sauciness to get your seducing pants on. (Bonus: listen to the rest of Jojee’s music, which we blogged about, here. (Hint: Girl’s a total badass)).

Royal Tongues “Chasing Down A Feeling” For when you’re on that drive out to the bar with your friends and you need that song to open the windows and completely let go to.

Max Frost “Withdrawal” For when you’re vacuuming and you need a song to dance a little bit to so it goes faster (and let’s be honest, you probably need to practice your dance moves a little bit too).

Freedom Fry “Tropicana” For that Sunday morning drive down PCH where you can open the sunroof, let your hair down, forget about all your problems, and smile your way through the traffic (that was a metaphor for life).

The Japanese House “Clean” For when you’re trying to come back to Earth after a long, exhilarating weekend, and you’re laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, and meditating on life in general.
