The weather may be getting colder, but residents of Chicago can still cozy up in one of the city’s many comedy theaters. Catch one of these holiday-themed shows for a night out full of laughter that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

1. Unwrapped: A Holiday Drinking Show
The cast of VAMP, Chicago’s premier music comedy drinking show, present a holiday-themed improv extravaganza filled with hilarious scenes and songs based on your gifts of suggestions. It’s BYOB so grab your spiked eggnog and other spirits of choice and get ready to feel warm all over.

2. Fruit Cake: An Improvised Holiday Show
Under The Gun theater’s sharp ensemble create and perform an improvised holiday movie live on stage. Whether it includes Santa fighting on Boxing Day or Jewish and Catholic twins trying to decide how to decorate for the season, you never know what’s going to happen next or how the story will wrap up. It’s an always-different movie based on the suggestions of the ‘studio audience’.

3. The Ha-Ha-Holiday Show
The aptly-named Laugh Out Loud theater puts on an improv show that creates anything but a silent night. Scenes, games, or even carols can be the result of your suggestions in this mayhem of festivities. The early show is family-friendly, but you can enjoy an ‘adults-only’ show at the later time.

4. Burlesque is More Presents: Nice N’ Naughty
Forget seeing ‘Bad Santa 2’, this is only naughty fun you need this season. Featuring a dazzling range of vibrant comedic holiday characters, The Annoyance Theater is transformed into The Rumble Room as the ladies have you feeling hella mirthful at their monologues and flushed bright crimson from their dances.
